Stocking Tips – Pile Direction

It is important to consider pile direction when installing artificial grass.


When jointing two pieces of artificial grass, the pile of the grass must be running in the same direction. This is to ensure that the two sections of grass maintain the same visual appearance.


Running the grass at 90 or 180 degrees from one another will result in the pile facing in opposite directions and can make the grass appear as though it is a different colour.


To get the best results, we recommend running the grass so that you are looking into the pile when viewed from your house.
